A client of mine was charged with retail fraud in Troy Michigan based on allegations of shoplifting at Sommerset Mall. My client was adamant about being innocent of the crime, so we set the case for a jury trial, because the evidence in the case just didn't add up. Today we arrived to pick our jury, and the prosecutor informed me that they could not go forward due to the main witness not being available to testify about the case.
