As all of my clients already know and all potential clients are told, I demand that my clients take a pro-active approach to their cases. We do this to put you in the best position for your case, because every case has four outcomes. You can go to trial and be found guilty or innocent, your case can be reduced via a plea bargain or your case can be dismissed. We first explore if your case should go to trial, but we also work toward a dismissal or a reduction in charges. To use a basketball analogy, we use the entire shot clock, and make sure we get the best shot possible.
I've had some amazing results based upon my program in the last few months. Just today I was able to get one of my client's retail fraud cases dismissed at the 52-1 District Court, because my client was willing to do community service and attend special meetings geared toward shoplifters in advance of going to court. Once I told the prosecutor and judge about my client's efforts, everything fell into place. Unfortunately no other attorney I know of takes this same approach and many deserving clients around the state are not giving themselves the best chance inside the courtroom.
I am very selective in the clients I represent, because I need to know you're going to follow my plan, and backup my words to the prosecutor and the judge. If you follow my plan, you're giving yourself the best chance of achieving your results. Clients come to me and tell me about their jobs, family, school etc - they can't afford to go to jail or have a criminal record. We then tailor a program to their needs and aggressively pursue those goals together. I've been astonished at some of my recent results, but my clients were willing to do what I asked, and they were rewarded. I look forward to helping future clients achieve their goals.
