Anyone arrested for drunk driving in Jackson County and around Michigan becomes legally bound by the implied consent law to allow a chemical test of his or her breath, blood, or urine to determine the amount of alcohol or the presence of a controlled substance. By having a driver's license, you are consenting to offer a chemical test sample if a police officer requests one. If you do not, your license is GONE for a year with 6 points added to your license. You will then be forced to give a blood sample anyway via search warrant.
