| In Michigan it is unlawful to have any amount of THC, the active ingredient in marijuana, in your system at the time you are operating your vehicle. The crime for driving with any marijuana in your system is exactly the same as being drunk – DUI, known in Michigan as OWI or Operating While Intoxicated. Also, there is no “legal limit” for pot in Michigan. Any amount means zero tolerance, and just because you have a medical marijuana license does not mean you cannot be charged with this crime. |  |
