Living Arrangements

1. The man seated at the table in front of you is your husband, boyfriend, and/or father of your child?
2. Currently, you are married and/or living with defendant?
3. How long have you been married and/or living together?
4. Have children? How many? Ages? Is defendant the father?
5. At the time of the incident, were you married to or living with defendant?
6. Since the incident, have you continuously lived with defendant?
7. Any separations? What about right after the incident?
8. How did you get to court today?
9. Are the people sitting in the hallway outside with you defendant's relatives/friends?
10. Did you all come to court together? Including defendant?
11. How will you get home from court today?

Financial Dependence

12. Are you currently working outside the home?
13. Have you ever worked outside the home since you have been with defendant? If so, did he ask you to quit work and stay home?
14. Is defendant currently working?
15. Does he make more money than you do?
16. Are you worried that he might lose his job if he is convicted?
17. Are you renting? Do you have a mortgage payment?
18. Who's responsible for paying the rent/mortgage?
19. Do you rely on defendant for rent, groceries, utilities, bills?
20. Rely on defendant to help around the house? With kids?
21. Does defendant's family help you take care of the kids? Provide any financial support?
