According to a recent statewide audit by the Michigan State Police, Judge Gerou handled 231 drunk driving charges last year with 223 being convictions and 8 cases being dismissed. There doesn't appear to be any cases that went to trial where the client was acquitted. This doesn't mean that the client's didn't have a good defense, but possibly that there attorneys did not give them a strong option of going to trial.
